No Direct Services

Direct Special Education Services

Checkin/Checkout with special ed teacher

Direct executive functioning instruction

Adult support for focus and work completion in the classroom

School counselor or school psychologist is in charge of the 504 plan

Special education teacher is the case manager

Periodic reevaluation - parents can request a review

Reviewed every year with the parents involved 

Student is reevaluated every 3 years

In order for a student to qualify for an IEP, there must be an area of need that cannot be met without specialized instruction.
